Marine Power Equipment, Seattle, WA 1982-1983 Project Engineer Involved in tug and barge design, preliminary (proposal) design for a new fiberglass mine sweephunter for the U.S. Navy and U.S. Navy LCM (8) construction program. Jensen Maritime Consultants Inc., Seattle, WA 1973-1982 Vice President and Project Manager Responsible for day-to-day operations of the Company (average staff of six to eight engineers and technicians) with respect to accomplishment of engineering work. Significant projects included the detailed design of the major renovation of the Washington State Ferry M/V Klickitat and the contracted design for a 121¡¯ fisheries patrol vessel for the state of Alaska. Also responsible for the original design of over a dozen different fishing vessels under 150¡¯ in length. |
